Relining pressure pipes requires special attention as steel flanges cannot be mounted safely on composite liners. Rotec has 25+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing and producing GRP flanges and fittings for a wide range of applications.
In 2015, Rotec has developed flanges and fittings that can be mounted on a composite liners for any application, including pressure pipes. This product range, the Rotec Linercon™© range, consists of flanges, connections and T-pieces.
The Linercon™© flange can be mounted on the liner directly, without the need of lamination. The Linercon™© flange is fixed on the liner via epoxy glue injection. The epoxy is injected with air pressure and cured with a heating blanket in XXX hours. The Linercon™© flange connection has been tested successfully for various customers up to a pressure of 50 bar.
The Linercon™© range also includes adjustable connections and T-pieces. Also these connections and T-pieces are fixed and secured with epoxy glue rather than via lamination. Rotec’s vision is to provide components that enable the operators in the field to work efficiently, whilst achieving high quality, safe connections.
With Linercon™©, Rotec offers the right flange, connection and fitting for relining any pipe, at any diameter. Drillings are offered to meet all standard DIN/EN/ASA norms or to match client specification.
Unlike connections that require lamination, the Linercon™© flanges and fittings can be mounted in unfavourable wheather conditions, delivering very sturdy liner connections.
Advantages of Linercon™© flanges and fittings:
- Fast and clean mounting. No need for lamination in the field
- Available for all diameters of relining
- High quality
- Suitable for pressure pipes
- Proven technology, tested up to 50 bar.
